HydroPlan is owned and managed by its principal staff and operates throughout Australia and internationally. For over 30 years HydroPlan has delivered independent design services to owners, constructors and managers of water systems. Regular clients include irrigation water suppliers and water users, Councils and Authorities, golf courses and race courses, clubs and their consultants, schools and universities, all sorts of institutions, architects and engineers, planners and developers, and agribusinesses of all types and sizes. From multiple locations HydroPlan's 20 staff form one the largest and geographically-spread irrigation consultancies in the world, so that other global organisations have a local partner they can depend on. HydroPlan has the breadth and depth of resources needed to deliver challenging and remote projects. Several hundred design and investigation projects are undertaken each year, from small and easy to huge and challenging. HydroPlan takes pride in its standing within the water industry as irrigation consultants of distinction with the right balance between agonomics and engineering, relevant theory and current practice. Many standards and methods have been adopted as a result of HydroPlan's innovations. Close contact is maintained with the 'trade', but HydroPlan's reputation is built on identifying and protecting the interests of the 'end-users'. Total independence from manufacturers, suppliers or contractors is a cornerstone of HydroPlan's philosophy.
